By way of Denver, Colorado -Park Hill Area- [former home of Pam Grier] Jacqualynn “J∆i” Harris is a versatile artist equipped with an influential voice and an ingenious vision. This Poet, Filmmaker and recently Radio Personality on Mile High Sports Station 93.7FM (Colorado) is taking the entertainment industry by storm. Harris currently has a New Mixtape available for download, Disconnected Volume 1, produced by Grammy certified platinum producer, DJ Vudu Spellz, who is responsible for Ludacris’ and Jamie Foxx’s Grammy nominated song “Georgia.”. Jai Harris’ most current film project, The Frances G. Project: Documenting the Cure has a Goal to get the general public access to the CURE for illnesses such as CANCER, AIDS, HIV, DIABETES, HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, BLINDNESS, HERPES, ASTHMA, LEUKEMIA, SICKLE CELL and LUPUS. We will do this by introducing them to Dr. Sebi, The World Renowned healer that has cured several ailments with his Electric Cell Food. August 2011 Jai was hired by Crooks N Castles® to film at MAGIC™ Trade Show in Las Vegas; where she interviewed Pro Skateboarder, Terry Kennedy and G.O.O.D. Music’s Pusha T. She also filmed events with Waka Flocka Flame, Chris Brown and Tyga. She has filmed live performances and events featuring industry artists such as Rev Run, Big Sean, The Game & BWS, Travis Porter, Mario, Erykah Badu, B.o.B (Bobby Ray), Lupe Fiasco, Wiz Khalifa, Big Boi (Outkast), DJ Drama, Bei Maejor, Kid Ink, Baby Bash, Pete Rock vs DJ Premier, Method Man, Janelle Monáe, Talib Kweli, Eric Roberson, Dead Prez and many more. Recently she filmed performances from up and coming artists Colorado’s own, MTHDS, Kid Vegas, Hwood, KDJ Above, Pries and More.

In 2010 she worked with Audio Art Group™ as a film producer, event coordinator and graphic designer on several projects including Masters of Art, Sound & Love™ Denver Exhibit 2010 where she was Co-Executive Producer and “SOLE ARTiFACT” featuring Lonnie “Pops” Lynn, former ABA Player and father of Rapper/ Actor Common where Jai was co-producer, director and editor.
With Audio Art Group™, Jai partnered with UC Denver to coordinate an event bringing Hip Hop Legend and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee, Rev Run of RUN DMC to the Auraria Campus in Denver, CO. Jai made first contact with Rev Run during the booking phase and did the marketing campaign for “Follow your Passion: A Discussion with Rev Run” including promotional videos, fliers and tribute events leading up to the main event at Auraria Campus. She also coordinated the reception and performed an original dedication piece for Rev Run.
2010-2011 Jai worked with Grammy Award winning Producers, Trak Starz on a project entitled “The Fifth Dimension,” which will feature both poetry and film contributions from Jai Harris.
Jai Harris has performed at the Legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem NY. She has also performed for Rev Run of Run DMC, Noble Peace Prize Laureate- Rigoberta Menchu-Tum, Spike Lee, Danny Glover, Dr. Vincent Harding and other notable figures. In 2007 she was a member of SlamNUBA ranked 4th in the Nation NPS2007. She has shared the stage with Bahamadia, Dead Prez, Raye 6 and Umi of POW. She has also performed at NACA WEST and other venues across the US.
July 2009, her mentors Dr. Vincent Harding and donnie l. betts taped the pilot for a new series, “Women of Power” hosted by award winning actor/ activist, Danny Glover and Jai Harris. She is not only co-hosting but also doing the poetry for the series’ intro and close.
In 2012 Jai did some production work for Bravo’s Millionaire Match Maker, as well as freelance work for KS107.5 FM. She also filmed events featuring CSI’s Hill Harper, Angela Bassett & Danny Glover during the DNC2008. January 2009 she was the featured poet in a PBS series, “Good Grief,” she was also a key editor and production assistant for the series.Recent graduate from University of Colorado Denver, this talented young woman is without doubt a “JACKie of All Trades.”
