Good Shepherd JustDan

Song Title: Good Sheperd

The best way to describe this artist? Easy-going and Justice-driven.
A budding urban contemporary artist, JustDan (Daniel Chukwuebuka Chukwuemeka) recorded his first single in 2008, as an undergraduate. It was “African legend”, a song inspired by the towering attributes of the Mandela figure: justice, freedom, democracy, and so on. As a creative artist (not only in the music field, but also in the areas of acting and writing), JustDan renders a lyrical testament of all that Mandela stood for through urban contemporary music.
Having finished his university education at the University of Nigeria in the Eastern part of the country, JustDan, who hails from Anambra state, Nigeria, ventured into making the long-term dream of singing for Mandela a reality. But he does not just sing about the man; rather he reaches out to the populace the exemplary ideals of the Mandela figure through music – given that music as art has a wide outreach and audience coverage.
The two tracks he has released so far – “African legend” and “Goodshephard” – are just but a pick of the litter of what is more to come from the young artist.
“African legend” is already on the Nelson Mandela Foundation website: alongside other songs by South African stars like JR, Proverb and Nicolette Aubourg.
Having won several awards in the literary writing and acting angles of art, as a student, JustDan hopes to take his artistry to a greater height via music.
The video of “I Care” will drop soon. Download, play and shareSpread the ideal message: it’s in our hands to make of our world a better one for all.
